A championship organization

Xpress Motorsports entered 2008 as one of the Truck Series' established organizations. The Mooresville, North Carolina team had won consecutive championships in 2002 and 2003.

For 2008, the team paired Scott with experienced crew chief Dave Fuge and fielded the No. 16 Chevrolet with support from Shark Energy Drink and Albertsons. The original driver website centered on this rookie campaign.
